A child’s artful creations can be a voice for what they can’t speak in words.

Creative expression can be an incredibly effective way of helping our little ones (and ourselves!) to process tricky emotions and learn to heal and grow. Having an outlet for creativity is helpful and even necessary for some children, whether they are struggling with the usual childhood cares and fears, or they are experiencing something greater.

At HeART Minds we offer an opportunity for children to engage with art materials while learning and practising social awareness and emotional literacy.

Our kids produce some incredible masterpieces, but the focus is on the process, and the natural expression and development that come through being creative and free to explore new understanding of self in flexible ways.
